Writers Guidelines for 5678

5678 Dance publishes a quarterly magazine focused on dance in its perspective genre.  5678 is a niche publication that has approximately 10,000 readers per issue.  5678  features articles pertaining to Swing, Shag, Country, Hustle and more.  Country Dance like couples, line, and team dancing in its many forms.  5678 also features articles pertaining to West coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Salsa, Shag, Hustle and other forms of
Swing Type social dance.

Areas of Interest:
We are interested in articles of many different natures.
Celebrity Interviews: Today's stars of the dance world
Dance Technique: How to do the steps, connection, lead and follow and more
Event Reviews: How did it go?
Social Dancing: Where to go, what to do, who does what where.
Personal Profiles:  Teachers, Studios, Dance Clubs.... what's up?
Dance Humor:  Something true or fictitious.... just funny.
Just Dance:  Doesn't fit into a category, so what, if it's dance we might just want it.
Submission Format:

All articles accepted by email or attached file only.  We accept Microsoft Word or a text fileand would prefer Times New Roman...12pt...Left Justified with no indents written in  AP Style. We pay upon printing of the article and purchase all rights.  We pay anywhere from $35 to $100 for features.  Material is subject to editing for length, style and format.  We encourage photos and prefer to receive them by email as well in 300 dpi jpeg format at regular size.  If that is not possible they can be sent hard copy.  Photos are paid depending on quantity of use and size.
